As we head into the Thanksgiving season, NCJAR President-Elect and Trustee Carolyn Bardach shares a warm message of gratitude and a powerful recap of key insights from NAR NXT 2025 in Houston.
This year’s conference highlighted major shifts within our national association, focusing on member value, transparency, and the future of the REALTOR® brand. NAR President Kevin Sears and CEO Nykia Wright introduced a bold three-year strategic plan designed to modernize operations, strengthen trust, and reaffirm NAR’s commitment to its members. A significant part of that effort includes the release of NAR’s first-ever Annual Report in early 2026, giving REALTORS® a clearer view into how dues are invested and how the association is evolving.
NAR’s message was clear:
It’s time to move from “back to basics” to “back to business.”
Here at NCJAR, we are fully aligned with this direction. Our leadership and staff are working together to ensure that the needs of North Central Jersey’s real estate professionals remain front and center as these national initiatives unfold. Members will soon receive NAR’s National Member Engagement Survey, and we encourage everyone to participate—your feedback helps shape the future of our association.
Once NAR releases its annual report, NCJAR will provide an easy-to-understand breakdown of what it means for you and your business. We are also developing new member value tools that will be shared as soon as they are available.
To keep the momentum going, join us for our upcoming networking social at McLoone’s Boathouse on Wednesday, December 17th from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM—a great chance to reconnect with colleagues and bring the energy of NAR NXT back to our local community.
NCJAR remains committed to delivering meaningful value, transparent communication, and strong leadership as our industry moves forward.
We wish you and your families a very happy Thanksgiving!
