Mary Ann Di Sabato, a loving, thoughtful, and selfless woman, passed away on October 1, 2026, in Clifton, New Jersey, at the age of 90.Born on April 23, 1936, in Throop, Pennsylvania, she carried the values of faith, family, and hard work throughout her life. She was a Christian whose gentle spirit and steady presence touched the lives of many who knew her. Mary Ann was raised with a deep appreciation for family ties and the importance of caring for others, qualities that remained at the center of her life from her earliest years through her final days.Mary Ann pursued some college education and went on to build a respected and accomplished career. She began her professional life as a comptroller at Benmar Conditionaire in Clifton, New Jersey, where she served faithfully for 20 plus years. Her work was marked by diligence, intelligence, and a strong sense of responsibility. She later became a Realtor-Broker at her family’s Century 21 Di Sabato Realty in Harrison, New Jersey, where she continued to demonstrate the same commitment and professionalism that had long defined her. Through her 30 plus years in real estate, she became a familiar and trusted presence, and she was active in many organizations, Realtor associations and committees, reflecting her dedication to her profession and to the community she served.Mary Ann took great pride in her family and cherished the relationships that shaped her life. She was the beloved mother of Robert G. Pellegrino and the late Regina B. Pellegrino; Stepmother of Dennis Di Sabato and stepmother of the late Joseph P. Di Sabato, Jr. Mary Ann is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many cousins, all of whom will remember her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Judge Joseph P. Di Sabato, Sr.; the late Albert J. Pellegrino, the father of her children,; her daughter-in-law, Patricia Ann (nee Sweeney) Pellegrino; her parents, August “Gus” Visotski and Mary (née Krulewicz) Visotski; her brothers, Leonard Visotski and his wife Lori, and Joseph Visotski and his wife Mary.Those who knew Mary Ann will remember her as an avid sports fan, especially when cheering for the New York Giants. She enjoyed gardening and found joy in nurturing beauty and life in the world around her. She also loved to cook, and her kitchen was a place where family and friends were welcomed with generosity and care. Above all, she treasured time with her family, and her happiest moments were often those spent in the company of the people she loved most.Visiting Wednesday, October 7, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton, NJ 07013. Funeral Service Thursday 8:45 am at the Funeral Home. Followed by a 9:30 am Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church, 60 Byrd Avenue, Bloomfield, NJ 07003.
