On May 21, 2026, real estate professionals from across New Jersey came together at Ave in Florham Park for an inspiring afternoon of learning, networking, and global connection at Passport to Profit: Building Wealth Through Global Real Estate. Presented by the Women’s Council of Realtors® New Jersey, Women’s Council of Realtors® North Central, and the North Central Jersey Association of Realtors® (NCJAR), the event highlighted the growing opportunities within the global real estate market and the power of international collaboration.
Attendees gained valuable insight into how global real estate can open doors to new business opportunities, strengthen referral networks, and help REALTORS® better serve today’s diverse clientele. The program featured engaging speakers, meaningful conversations, and practical strategies designed to help members expand their reach beyond local markets and build long-term success.
Throughout the event, participants connected with fellow industry professionals, exchanged ideas, and explored the importance of cultivating relationships both locally and internationally. From market trends to cross-border opportunities, the event encouraged attendees to think bigger and embrace the possibilities of a global real estate mindset.
Finding the right tenant is one of the most important steps in the rental process, but it also comes with significant legal responsibilities. To help real estate professionals navigate tenant screening with confidence, NJ Realtors® Member Perks Partner, RentSpree, has released a free Tenant Screening Guidebook designed to simplify the process while remaining compliant with the Fair Housing Act.
The guidebook offers tips and tools to help REALTORS® create a consistent, professional, and legally sound screening process. Whether you are managing rentals regularly or occasionally helping clients, this resource can help reduce risk and improve efficiency.
Why Fair Housing Compliance Matters
Tenant screening decisions must be applied consistently and fairly to all applicants. Violations of Fair Housing laws can create legal and reputational challenges for agents, brokers, and property owners.
RentSpree’s guidebook outlines:
- Best practices for tenant screening
- How to apply consistent criteria
- Common compliance pitfalls to avoid
- Ways to improve transparency and efficiency during the rental process
New Jersey Realtors® members are invited to attend a special advocacy event at the State House in Trenton, where New Jersey’s top elected officials have been invited to speak on issues impacting the real estate industry, homeownership, and private property rights.
This REALTORS-only event offers members the opportunity to hear directly from policymakers and engage in conversations about the legislative decisions shaping the future of real estate across New Jersey.
Attendees will also have the chance to connect with fellow real estate professionals from across the state while learning more about the important role advocacy plays in protecting the interests of REALTORS® and property owners.
